Being in the Greek community at USD, there is always a fun social event to attend with your sisters. Whether we are dressing up in a silly costume for an exchange, ice skating or rock climbing downtown for a sisterhood event, at a padre game with our PADRES for Dads Weekend, or dancing away at the Sapphire Ball, Kappas are having fun wherever it may be.
We have our fair share of themed dances with other sororities and fraternities as well as date-dashes. It’s always exciting to see what outrageous outfits some people have hiding in the back of their closets. Each academic year ends with our annual formal Sapphire Ball in the spring.
Each semester we host a Moms weekend in the spring and a Dads Weekend in the fall to spend some quality time with our parents. In the past, these weekends have included Padre games, shopping, fishing, comedy shows,catered brunch, cooking classes, formal tea, symphonies, and nice meals away from that Caf.
Kappas are well rounded girls that don’t mind slipping into some tennis shoes for the Greek Olympics, an intramural game, or a bike around the beach. We are proud of our sister athletes and love to cheer them and other USD athletes on whenever we can.
