Dear Potential New Member,

As the Recruitment Chairman for Kappa Kappa Gamma, I would like to congratulate you on your acceptance to USD.  This new chapter in your life is going to be incredibly exciting, yet sometimes scary as well.  If you are looking forward to meeting new people, putting time into activities you have yet to try, or fulfilling your college experience, I highly encourage you to consider going through 2010 Sorority Recruitment in the Spring.  All of the chapters on our campus offer something different and exciting, and one of them could be the perfect place for you.

Being a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma has taught me so much the past two years.  Not only have I made the most wonderful friends I could have hoped for, but I have also participated in philanthropic activities that are important to me, all the while having an amazing time.  Whether we are writing to our journal buddies, taking study breaks to get fro-yo, or dancing the night away at an event, there is never a dull moment.  Over the year and a half since I went through recruitment, Kappa has provided me with memories that I will never forget and friends who I know will be my sisters long after graduation.

I encourage anyone interested in becoming a member of a sorority to get to know all of the chapters and have a wonderful first semester of college.  Keep your eyes open for the fun events our chapter will have this Fall to get to know you a little better, such as lunch with Kappas and Kappaccino.  Being a part of Greek life has been an unexplainable experience for me.  I wish you the same experience and hope you consider participating in recruitment, keeping Kappa in mind.
